Payments

When the affiliate's approved commissions reach the minimum amount to receive the payment, the affiliate is reported on the "pending payments" page. At this point you can send him the payment and click on "mark as paid" to register it in your affiliate network.

How to manage payments

11.1. Pending payments

On this page you can see all the affiliates who are waiting to receive payments, the respective amounts to pay and where to send the payments. You can click on the amount in bold to see the detailed report of the affiliate’s approved commissions.

Only affiliates who have reached the minimum amount in approved commissions are shown. If an affiliate has not reached the minimum payment amount, his commissions remain saved until he reaches the minimum amount.

After sending the payment to the affiliate, using the payment method he has chosen (paypal, bank transfer, etc.), click on "Mark as paid" to register the payment in the affiliate network. When you register a payment, the paid transactions are moved to the "payments sent" page.

It is also possible to export pending payments and integrate them on PayPal Mass Pay (or other similar services) that allow you to automate the payment process.

11.2. Payments sent

On this page you can see the list of all payments you sent to the affiliates.

The table shows: date of payment, affiliate name, paid amount, method of payment and the payment details.

Click on the amount in bold to see the detailed report of the affiliate’s paid commissions.

Depending on the laws of your country, you may have to request an invoice to the affiliates.

11.3 Invoicing (plugin)

This plugin adds an additional stage to the payment system.

Instead of immediately sending the payment to the affiliate, you can store the amount to pay and wait for the affiliate to send you the invoice.

When you receive the invoice from the affiliate, you can send him the payment and click on "Mark as paid" to register the payment.

In the meantime the affiliates can continue to earn new commissions but these will not be summed to the amounts that have been already billed.

11.4 Payment settings

AffiliationSoftware allows you to customize the minimum amount to reach in order to receive payments and the payment methods available to the affiliates.

You can change your payment settings from the page:

Admin panel > settings > payment

Minimum payment amount
Enter here the minimum amount that each affiliate must reach in order to be displayed on the "Pending payments" page. You can also enter multiple amounts by leaving an empty space between one and the other. Example 30 50 100. Use the dot as a decimal separator.

Payment methods
Here you can see all the payment methods currently available. Activate only the ones you want to use to pay your affiliates. Affiliates will be able to choose from the active payment methods, which one they prefer to use and enter their payment details.

VAT groups
You can add or deduct a certain percentage from the amount that should be paid to your affiliates, this can be useful for affiliates with VAT. If you set a positive percentage it will be added to the payment amount, if you set a negative percentage it will be deducted from the payment amount.
